“ I have been coming here for many years and I have always been happy with the food, service and atmosphere of Taqueria. Before my grandfather passed away, the manager would always come by and speak to him and ask him how he has been. The owners of this place really care and serve fantastic food. 10/10 Best place in Augusta to eat. ”
“ This place has great tacos and great service! Their chips and salsa that come with each meal are fresh. I’ve only gotten their tacos off the menu and have thoroughly enjoyed them each time- no need for any other toppings besides the classics! ”
“ This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but man do they have some great food. Come here for the tacos. They do them a la carte and they have a bunch of traditional fillings as well as unique meats. They have stuff like chicken and beef, but if you're feeling more adventurous they have cow tongue, intestine, and stomach pouch as well. This is how you know they're good though because they're all prepared in the traditional open face Mexican style with onions and cilantro. They also give you two bottles of sauce with your chips that are designed to give your tacos extra flavor. The green sauce is traditional Mexican style and it's great too (beware though it has a slight spicy kick). The other items on the menu look decent as well, but the real draw of this place is the tacos. Try them with pastor meat. It's a type of Mexican Shwarma and it's amazing! ”
“ I absolutely LOVED coming here growing up and decided to stop by for lunch recently and was super excited to see they now have birria tacos! We were able to sit at a booth right when we walked in. Waitress was quick to bring chips, salsa and to get our order. The food was great!! Birria was delicious and the consome was rich. Burritos El Patron was also ordered and was enjoyed! Cheese dip, chips and salsas were also delicious and all were gone shortly after getting to the table For dessert, we ordered both the vanilla and strawberry tres leches cake slices. Out of both, we preferred the vanilla but each was enjoyed and not a crumb left. This was a great lunch break and we will be back again! ”
“ First-time customer, really good experience. Good food and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. ”
“ It's only taken us 2 1/2 years to find a Mexican restaurant we LOVE * Cast iron fajita bowls * Generous amounts of food * Incredibly affordable * Authentic flavors, even the homemade corn tortillas were amazing * Beautiful and colorful decor * Tastes like that hole in wall, California familia restaurant your Mexican besties share, finally * Cubans don't eat flan with whipped cream or chocolate, thank you Mexico for doing it! Delicious! ”
“ Awesome, delicious, an unassuming hidden gem. I'm a server and go there on breaks when I work a double. Always fast good service. Food always perfect and leans a lil more authentic then most tex mex. I see myself quickly becoming a regular. ”
“ By far the best bang for your buck Mexican food I've ever had. Birria tacos are the way to go. Torta w/ barbacoa was phenomenal as well. Overall, highly recommend!! ”
